The new phone is here

The phone is probably the most important tool that your character uses, so we thought that it was time that we gave the phone a complete overhaul to bring it into the future!

The new phone is a pretty big change from what you're used to. There's a fresh design, new features, and plenty of improvements to check out. These are some of the highlighted features:

Eight finishes

Buy a phone in the color that best suits you and the prop your character holds will match.

Dynamic Island

Keep an eye on your currently playing music, calls, or timers right at the top of your phone screen.

Speakerphone

Put your call on speaker so the people around you can hear and speak to them too.

Contact sharing

Exchange contact details with nearby people without having to read your numbers out loud.

iFruit Pay

Send money, or ask for it, straight through your text messages.

A brand new camera

Zoom in, record videos, adjust rotation, switch to landscape mode, and opens in an instant.

MORE THAN A NEW LOOK

A new phone is great, but it also needs to hold up when the server is busy. We've spent time thoroughly testing its features, fixing any issues, and getting feedback from playtesters to make sure it's ready for the EchoRP community. We are extremely proud of what this project has become, all the testers helped take this phone to the next level and we are grateful for their time and efforts.

Built JUST FOR ECHORP

Optimized to support all of our 250 players at once, the phone running smoothly alongside everything else happening in the server.

PUT TO THE TEST

Our playtesters have been putting the phone through the ringer, stress-testing features, identifying bugs, and helping us get things right before release.

Everything connected

The apps are designed to work together, making the phone feel smarter and easier to use.

PICK YOUR COLOR 🎨

There are eight different options for you to choose from. The color you choose lives on the phone itself so the prop in your character's hand, the frame on your screen and the buttons down its side all match!

Grey, Silver, Navy, Light Blue, Green, Orange, Pink and Light Pink.

It's all in the details

Typing animation

When you type on your phone, your character types too.

Backlight glare

Your phone's screen has a realistic glow and glare, so it looks like an actual device in your character's hand.

real, functioning buttons

Silent mode, volume controls, lock, and even a dedicated camera button are all built into the phone itself, so that you don't have to dig through menus to get where you need to go.

Lock sound

Lock your phone and hear that familiar click, complete with a matching Dynamic Island animation.

Emotes use your phone

Any emote that uses a phone now uses yours, in your chosen color.

Less Waiting, More Doing

Everything has been optimized to open instantly, from the camera to the apps you use the most.

YOUR LOCK SCREEN, YOUR WAY

Choose your wallpaper, then customize just about everything else. Change the clock's font, size, weight, color, and glow to get it looking exactly how you want. Add widgets to keep the info you care about close at hand. Customize the shortcut buttons in the bottom corners as desired. Save up to six different Lock Screens, each with its own wallpaper, setup, and paired Home Screen so you can switch things up whenever you feel like it.

Clock styles from clean and modern to neon and handwritten.

Widgets for your bank, battery, missed calls and more.

Notifications

Notifications have been rebuilt from the ground up. They now stack neatly, can be viewed in the Notification Center and will consistently persist across server restarts so that you can view them when you need to. You can also choose which notifications you want to receive and turn off the ones you don't.

Dynamic Island

Control your music, manage your calls, or keep track of your timers all from the top of your screen. Click to expand it, drag to collapse it, and use it to move smoothly between apps and activities.

Calls
Answer or decline without leaving what you're doing.

setting up your phone

Using your phone for the first time will give you the opportunity to go through the setup process. With the setup process, you can customize your phone to be how you want it to be right from the very beginning. You can skip any part of the setup process and change it all later in Settings.

Messages

Messages has had a major overhaul, with new ways to share content, keep track of conversations, and manage your chats.

Photos and videos appear right in the middle of the conversation. Sending multiple at once will put the images in a grid.

Multiple links can be sent in one message, each with its own preview.

Pin conversations that you have with your favorite people.

Backgrounds of your conversations can be changed and shared with the other party.

Format with headings, checklists and highlights, give people read-only or edit access, and keep everything sorted with tags.

Search

Search from your Home Screen, or press CTRL + F to open Search directly. Look across your contacts, messages, calendar, Nexus ads, Twatter, Snapmatic and more.

Browser app

a new home for business websites

Instead of an app for every business, the new Browser brings them all together. Bookmark your favorites and jump back to recent sites. Each website embeds right on your phone in mobile view, and with one click it will now pop out to a larger window beside it.

Photos and carousels from the people you follow.

Shorts

multiple profiles per account

Switch between profiles in a tap. You can protect individual accounts with a password and share access with others so they can post from it too. Your Snapmatic account works on Twatter as well.

Nexus

We have done away with the Services app and the Yellow Pages to bring the Nexus app to life. Here you can find advertisements, events, and services all in one place!

Calendar

Add events, appointments and reminders, then see them by year, month or day. In day view, Calendar jumps straight to the part of the day where your plans are.

An inbox for your plans

Invitations, changes and events people send you all land in one inbox. Accept, say maybe or decline, and when someone moves an event, you'll see exactly what changed.

Calendars that update automatically

Keep multiple calendars, and subscribe to the ones the city keeps for you, like Los Santos holidays, court hearings and the events you mark on Nexus. Bills and taxes from Fleeca, LSRS and the DOJ appear automatically, so nothing slips past its due date.

Clock

The Clock app does more than tell you the time! You can add clocks for different time zones, set alarms, and run timers while your phone is tucked away in your pocket.

Stopwatch
Measure time directly from your phone.

Arcade

The Arcade app brings a collection of games together in one place: Word Play, Snake, Breakout, Stacker, 2048, Minesweeper, Sudoku, Solitaire and Pairs. Every game has its own leaderboard the whole city is on, ranked all time and since the last restart.

Voice Memos

RECORD NOW, LISTEN LATER

Record up to five minutes at a time, even with your phone away. File recordings into folders, favorite the important ones and play them back at varying speeds. Send them via text, or straight to the person standing next to you.

And so much more

LSRS

Pay in one tap from any account. Assign vehicles as business use, and search by vehicle or plate.

Calculator

Properties, Seer and Crypto Pay

Rebuilt from the ground up to match the rest of the phone.
